Test Fixtures
EMC Technologies designs and manufactures discretely wired and wireless test fixtures used for performance verification of PCB’s and Electronic Assemblies. Commercial applications have included work in support of many industries including:

We have also developed highly customized ITA’s (Interface Test Adapters) to support military, aerospace, and subcontracted military programs. Having such a wide variety of demanding customers and challenging products enables EMC Technologies to stay current with the latest testing strategies. Listed below are some examples of the types of test fixtures EMC has been involved with.
Interface Test Adapters (ITA)
A custom Mother Test Adapter shall mate to the customer’s Tester Interface. A custom Daughter Test Fixture, which will be generic in nature, shall mate to the Mother Test Adapter and provide a means to quickly adapt a Unit Under Test (CCA, Circuit Box, etc.) to the customer’s Tester.
General Overview of ITA:
- Mother Test Adapter (interfaces to customer tester)
- Custom Backplane PCB (power and ground connections)
- Custom Utility Board PCB (additional loads, relays, etc.)
- Removable Access Panels
- Redundant Interface (multiple connections to a single point)
- Daughter Test Fixture (customizable test base which is made UUT-specific)
