Pivoting Clamshell HDD Kit
 

With a pivoting clamshell ITA, users are given ample room to load UUT's (Units Under Test) and to rotate the assembly freely to gain access to all points on the PWB during test, for probing, etc.

SAUs (Side Access Units) loaded with probe pins facilitate smooth and accurate engagement/disengagement to the UUT connectors and provide reliable connections.

All fixture-related circuitry is kept protected inside of the enclosure and is accessible via the hinged clamshell mounting plate.  The mouting plate is also supported with gas shocks (size dependant on weight of clamshell, UUT, etc) so it will remain open while the user performs work inside the fixture.
